Probably most famous for their darkly epic track 'lights', this is a nice album by Archive. Very reminiscent of pink floyd in ambition but with their own sound.
A few from Jon Hopkins, one of my favorite artists, very melancholic at times but in a good way. He wrote the score for the movie 'Monsters' which really made the film IMO.
Been rummaging through my collection again, listening groove armada for the first time in years. Both tracks from the album goodby country, hello nightclub
Some film track tearjerkers. I don't listen to this kind of melancholy too often, but it has an important place in my music library.
First track is campfire by Jon Hopkins from the film Monsters, second is to heal by underworld from the movie Sunshine.
