I really can't stand Amby Burfoot (but, I do love that name), and I blame Runner's World for a huge chunk of the problems that so many runners have. They're really just a mouthpiece for whatever manufacturer can afford their advertising rates.
But then... Mark Remy is a pretty cool guy. Ach, I'm torn. I think, just like the whole sporting goods industry, they depend on manufacturers and researches with ties to industry to give them their information. The status quo is slowly changing...
