Hello everyone. Here's my short story:
I'm 61years old and started running last fall after losing 70lbs. I've run several 5 and 10k races this year and even managed a 3rd in my ag, I guess the real runners didn't show up that day. My pr for a 5k is 26:28 but now I'm focusing on the longer runs a bit slower. With all my nice running shoes I kept developing injuries so I switched to VFFs a couple of months ago and running injury free. My longest run was last week - 12.3 miles in my Komodo LS's in 2:15:04 slow and steady.

Dunstable 5k 10/2
Bay State 1/2m 10/16
