I love it Josh! Talk about liberated hips :)

Zap, that sentence didn't come out right LOL Though really, learning control of those muscles and learning to leave your inhibitions at the door...you'll be able to do some crazy stuff check out Aruhoia's belly roll in Josh's post!

while we're talking liberating hips, here's a little samba/capoeira www.youtube.com/watch damn brazilians seem to have inherited a good majority of the America's hips

Nice Samba vid, super fun.

Nice Samba vid, super fun. It's interesting how the three or four different cultures we're talking about have different ways of shaking "it." In Tahiti it's generally about moving "it" while keeping the movement of the legs to a minimum, also it's full of technical things that are lost on the unitiated, like shaking your hiney while down on your ankles (not easy I'm told). I like them all. It's great that these ancient ways of dancing seem to be making a comeback.

My wife was part of a pretty major production in Tahiti a few months back. Here's a blog post (with fuzzy video) of part of her experience for you dance nuts out there. http://coconutradio.blogspot.com/search/label/Tahitian%20dance

Wow Josh, that's awesome@!!

Wow Josh, that's awesome@!! Beautiful performance :) Is your wife a professional dancer?

I agree, I love all types of dance, they are all just so amazing, and while they are seemingly sexual...theyr'e so much more than that. Powerful!

Haha, no but she was flattered. :)

She writes guidebooks for Lonely Planet. To stay in shape she runs but I'm still working on her to abandon her anchors.
