11 mm and 7 ozThanks so much! That's exactly what my poor soles would need! How thick are the Osos?

Thank you. I'm not sure that would be thick enough. Sad, huh?
Last I heard from one of the minshoe store owners was that the Oso was the thickest, unless that's changed since.Looks like there are Lunas of all varieties!

There are delays in unshoe manufacturing at the momentI like Unshoes. A nice variety of thicknesses and foot bed choices.

Now, if any of you is looking for the real Tarahumara Huaraches I may be able to get some, I calculate they'll cost around 40-45 usd + shipping and taxes into the US
Just got this from BFT:Sounds exactly like what I need. What mm thickness?
Do you know how much it would cost to ship them to Georgia, USA?Now, if any of you is looking for the real Tarahumara Huaraches I may be able to get some, I calculate they'll cost around 40-45 usd + shipping and taxes into the US.
To build a pair it takes a month aproximately because they are made on a remote town in Chihuahua and the comunications are by phone or letters (at least that's what I was told).
Thanks for talking to The Monkey for me, Chris. That's quite a lot of money, $115. If they work for me, they would be well worth it. The closest minshoe store to me is about an hour away. I will have to make a trip over there to try them out, but I will call first. Thanks again!Just got this from BFT:

The "original" LUNA weighs in at 14 ounces and is about 14mm. I think she will need to try the LUNA Camino Mono now. See here:

It is the Mono footbed with a thick piece of leather on the top.
Future we will introduce some LUNA "Gordo" models that will be a bit thicker.

Thank you. My hubby says the tires will be about 15mm. If the Lunas are 14mm, I will drive to the closest minshoe store and try them on. If they don't work for me, Yuca, I will contact you about some authentic tire huaraches. Thank you!If I use the regular post mail I'm guessing around 25 usd and you should receive it in about 2-3 weeks (is very slow), I've never paid taxes by this way. If I use UPS perhaps around 45 usd and maybe (I could declare them as a gift or as used goods and probably won't charge you anything) you'll have to pay some taxes, you should get them in 3-4 days.
