Looking for some tarahumara type shoes. I don't want arch support, heels or padding. Any recommendations?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Justifiably so! I don't run in mine very much but for daily wear I love them.Wow, Luna is very proud of their shoes!
Got mine from ebay.I am leaning towards making some but haven't found a good source for soles. I think an old tire is too thick.
I've held one of the original sandals that was made for Ted - I don't think you'd get too much ground feel through it as it seems to be a section of truck tyre. It must weigh 10 or 12 ounces and is almost rigid. Current Lunas have developed a long way from there!I would love to have a pair of running sandals like the Tarahumara run in, tire threads and all. I wonder if Ted could get me a pair?
Sounds exactly like what I need. What mm thickness?I've held one of the original sandals that was made for Ted - I don't think you'd get too much ground feel through it as it seems to be a section of truck tyre. Perhaps 12 - 15mm. It looks as though some of the inner rubber was skived off as it is quite uneven on the footbed.Sounds exactly like what I need. What mm thickness?
Thanks so much! That's exactly what my poor soles would need! How thick are the Osos?Perhaps 12 - 15mm. It looks as though some of the inner rubber was skived off as it is quite uneven on the footbed.
I'll see if I can get any details from BFT.
