Running in Kilts

Depends on what kind of

Depends on what kind of weather you're running in. I personally find the Original Sportkilt to be a bit too hot for weather above 60 degrees. But it's perfect for that 30 to 50 degree range.

The Hiking Sportkilt is made of a wicking fabric like a tech shirt. It's really light and breathable. But it's twice as expensive.

Since fall is coming on and you live in the northwest, I'd suggest getting an original to see if you like it. A $50 experiment is better than a $80 one.

I agree with Saypay regarding

I agree with Saypay regarding the Sportkilts, I have run in both. The original is perfect for running is slightly cooler weather (I even used it a couple of times last winter to see if the boys would get cold and I can honestly say they were quite toasty ;-) ) The Hiking Sport Kilt is great for warmer weather, it breathes really well and wicks the sweat away quite nicely. I have used my Hiking version for 2 marathons and a 50km ultra, performed awesome.
