I came around the bend and that deer was there, about 10 meters away...By the time I thought to take a pic he was about 50 meters out...
Haha...its an advertisement for the quietness of barefoot running lol
Just kidding, the deer in Socal have no fear of humans, they are not hunted here.
Those are at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park in Orange County Ca...I'll try and get more pics from down in the canyon with the oaks next run
Trail I run 15 miles a week on year round.
WOW...those are gorgeous Paraganek!
City and Suburban Barefoot Runners...post your pics too...there is beauty and piquancy everyplace we run...Its a nice thread to see it all from each runner's perspective ;-)
The old bridge over the River Wye at Chepstow in Wales. The other side of the river is England. Upstream is the beautiful Wye Valley. All regulars on my local runs
Really cool man, and a gorgeous run, would be really nice if we got a good amount of international pics in this thread...so much history in that part of the world.
Nice idea for a thread Steve. Well done
This was the first half marathon I did, from San Carlos to Guaymas, on Sonora, Mexico. Most of it was along the coast (on the California Gulf), and although it was hot on that part of the year, the scenery and the people were great.
The exact point were this picture was taken was at the top of the only relevant hill on the whole course (hence my crooked grin), and at the back you can see the entrance to a local dolphinarium.
Definitely one of my favorite runs so far.
Very cool JL, great pic!
A couple from my morning run yesterday...local woods near my house....natural pavement.
I hit the coastal paths on my barefoot runs. Is a total pleasure to run this in the summer months.
The first picture is a tobacco field that has recently been planted (at least I think it is tobacco).
The second is a shot of the Cumberland River and the third is of the view on the other side of the road from the river. You can tell how rough the road is in the pictures.
my regular 15km run
Thats Gorgeous Sly, where is it ?
Odiar, ya made me a bit homesick with those pics lol...I can hear the cicadas buzzing along that river in the evening
