1/2 marathon....

Congrats Kevin, looking forward to race report.

Thanks, here's the race report....... It was awesome!

Male runners total, 1499..... I placed 204, in my age group I place 35th.
Female runners total 21,222
Total runners both genders 22,721..... My place overall 1,755

Completely barefoot runner total..... 1 - I didn't see or hear of anyone else so I'll go with 1 for now

The morning after my very first 1/2 marathon completely barefoot report.

Surprisingly my soles feel fantastic, the stubbed toe is not painful at all. I've been keeping the scalped area cared for, hydrogen peroxide, neosporin and covered.

The left foot (stubbed toe foot) feels fantastic given the punishment it received.

The right foot, got some pain (more of discomfort, don't really want to call it pain) in the area between my inner most toe joints and the ankle, more on the top not bottom of the foot. I'd say its where the meta's meet the tarsals and its oriented from the fifth and goes in toward approximately the 2nd or 3rd. There is only very minor almost unnoticeable swelling, no bruising. Hoping its just some muscle, tendon, ligament overuse type strain and nothing more. I'm going to ask the docs and see what they think.

Legs feel fantastic, some minor thigh soreness. Other than that no issues.

Thoughts I'd share my day after report with you all.

Thank you all for your support and accolades. You guys and gals rock!!!!!

Is it gauche to ask what your time was? ...who cares?! What was your time?

...and WELL DONE! A first BF run of any length is a fine and exciting thing.

My time was 2:10:54 which judging by the a forum I came across talking about the race is pretty good. I started in the "E" corral and did a lot of ducking, dodging, diving and fancy footwork to avoid colliding with others at times.

I had fun and am pretty happy with that time for my first 1/2 marathon.
