My goal was to finish under 3:3o which was the course time limit and also in the neighboorhood of my personal best so I was thinking it was going to be a very close finish
I kept a 12min mile pace for most of it. the last 3 miles had a gruesome hill in it and I cramped up pretty bad so I slowed down quite a bit , pulled to the side and stretched it out a couple of times but even with that I got a PR at 3:03:34
This is me using the last available energy to smile I wore my green Bikila LS Vibrams.
So far I have worn them for about 400 miles and this was their retirement race they are still in great shape I just want new ones
I will go back next year and take on that hill !
