One the most used arguments against going barefoot is that you will injure your foot on a rock, or a piece of glass. Which I usually respond by saying, "you step around the glass, or nail, or other sharp part." But, I've been wondering recently, when do you see dogs with shoes on? I've never seen a dog with shoes on, only once though on a trail, which I can kind of understand. But, I've neverheard someone saying, well your dog can't run barefoot, because he can step on glass, its interesting. Same with the hardness of surfaces, you don't ever hear anyone saying, well your dog needs cushioning when he walks on the asphalt because its manmade. I don't know, it just doesn't make sense to me.
