I know it has been a bit since I posted Day One, but here is Day 2 and a brief description of Day 3. Who would of thought running up mountains would be such fun. http://winnipegbarefootrunners.blogspot.ca/2012/07/canadian-death-race-training-camp-day-2.html
It was definitely worth the gate admission that's for sure. Will be back next year, depending how this year goes, might even try my hand at solo.
Ready and willing. Legs held up better than I was expecting, I was a little worried going in but after the camp I think I am good to go. Will not be as fast as some, but it's not about how fast you get there, just getting there.
Standing up and breathing at the end of that adventure would be a good thing. It is hard to get hill training in this town, but I noticed when I am out of town I look for hills to run and find it not too much of a problem. I used to do a lot of it when I lived on the wet (west) coast.
Yes he did, had one interview over email, and will be meeting up with him next week at the Death Race for the in person one. Plug, plug plug...........
