New Member of the Family

I am sitting in our master bedroom filling an enormous inflatable tub with warm water and the midwife is on her way! Yet to be named child #3 should be making an appearance shortly. I will keep you all posted!

Baby Elijah (Eli) was born this morning at 1:46am EST. 9lbs 3oz, 22.5 inches long. My wife was a champ and no babies were beaten. The midwife left at 5am and my other 2 kids woke up at 7. My littlest goes down for a nap in about an hour, and I think I might do the same.

Ollie is only 2, so all he knows is "dat come outta mama's belly?" my daughter is 6 and she refused to wake up to go see him.

Your daughter is smart for a 6-year old! She's probably thinking "OMG, not another little brother" or that she might be pressed into service to change a diaper or three.
