10.55 miles in my homemade sandals while pushing the baby girl in her stroller. I averaged a 10:37/mile pace. I messed with nutrition and hydration during the run by using a homemade energy/electrolyte replacement drink and found my cardio and legs were not my limiting factors, but my nutrition. And my footwear. My sandals were great till about the last mile when the strap between the toes became too much. Felt like I was running with broken pointer toes. Gotta get my other sandals redone but I need to have some free money that I can use to buy more soling material so I can widen the sandal just a touch. Oh, and I did about 2 miles today on a wide trail that I was able to go on with stroller. Oh man that was just awesome. Really beautiful. I took some pictures so I will download them in a bit so you all can see. Felt absolutely great for the majority of the run other than my toes from the sandal straps. My energy levels stayed up and my legs felt pretty good whole run.
