I've paid my entrance fee so guess I have to run it. Looks like a lovely course and BF friendly except fo the 5 miles of crushed stone. I'm tempted to BF it until the nasty stretch and take the shoes off once I'm back on the road. Anyone ever do that?

Anyone going to be in that part of the world around then?

That's the same day as the International Barefoot Running Day. If you should get a few more together, please be sure to make it as a group run to celebrate. Is this in NJ or PA? Both of those states have a Chapter President, and since you are a member of both of those groups, you can post in there to find out if they are going to have a meetup that day, or find out if they would like to make your event a meetup, or find out if anyone would like to join you. All you have to do is post a message in that chapter. Be sure to also post in those forums too.
