Good to hear. Didn´t want to disencourage you from Invisible shoes My point was rather: if you´re having problems with them, same experimentation might help and a different sandal might be just fine.No word yet on rubbing. I didn't feel any while running (did the slip/on slip/off modified tie and left it fairly loose), but it's too soon to tell.
Hooray! Got to find the dream thread right now...I did manage to walk and run down hills a total distance of 1.82 miles
Thanks, Lomad. The Xeroshoes come with some sort of hairpin that would work like the paperclip method. Can the ends of para cord be burned with a lighter to keep them from fraying? For para cord...take a paperclip and straighten the ends so it's a "u" shape. Put the points through the hole in the huarache sole and feed a bit of cord through the hole. Pulling the points will feed the cord through. Knot it and go!
Yes they can. I actually would take out the 7 little strands of strings inside so that the lace lays flat on my foot, but that's just me and my personal preferences. Thanks, Lomad. I haven't tried their new ATS straps, but their old ATS straps I did not like. The problems I didn't like appear to have been fixed now. I just haven't been able to afford a new pair of Lunas to try them out. I had asked John (stjohn) how he liked his and at the time he said he really liked them.I'm looking for some "causal" sandals and it sure wouldn't hurt if I could run in them too.
Just not sure how much I'm willing to spend on huaraches....lol
Any word on the "straps" that Luna is now transitioning to?
Just wish they weren't so pricy....its just rubber and straps...but I will pay more for responsible production....just means I have to wait more to save that $ upI haven't tried their new ATS straps, but their old ATS straps I did not like. feel free to report back....I'd be interested if there is much "flop" in the 4mmI ordered some Xeros after seeing them on Shark Tank. Got both a 4mm and 6mm sole set just to see the difference.
I had the 4mm connect or whatever it's called. It was the 4mm one but I'm not 100% that I have the name correct. I found they had a lot of flop for me, but if I tightened up tighter they caused numbing of toes and pain. I did like the tread on the bottom and for myself I would probably do the 6mm if I were to ever order from Steven and Lena again (probably won't happen though).feel free to report back....I'd be interested if there is much "flop" in the 4mm

Yep. Para cord melts just fine. The stuff I used was more flat than round, which i thought made a better feeling against the skin. Far better than the xero straps, IMO.
