Introducing self from South Australia

Hi there,

I'm Jenny from Adelaide, South Australia.

I've been barefoot walking for about 2 1/2 years and received many benefits. I started running about a year later and enjoyed it a great deal but found it hard when weather got colder and gave up for a while. I took it up again last Summer and am wanting to keep it up through Winter coming up. I am working on building up "my pads", as it were.

I've recently done the IBRD run with Neil & crew which was really fun. I'm glad I found out about it and finally met some other barefoot runners! The only time I see it is at beach where some people decide to kick off their shoes.

Hey, well done, good to see your first post I hope it is not the last.
I contacted David and he is happy for a monthly run, just waiting to see if I hear anything from Chris.
I know a good route in the Semaphore area (I ran around there this morning) if you'd like to give that a go.
