Hi! What a great site! I look forward to finding lots of info here! I have been running for about 9 years, the last 2 have been minimalist. I decided to try it when I was having all kinds of little injuries and read up on it a bit. Since I made the switch, no injuries! I love the freedom I feel now! It has made running fun again. I was even told I was inspiring at the finish line of my last half marathon! I still get some odd looks at races and such, but love it when people ask me about it so they don't think I'm just some weirdo in silly shoes...

Where in Wisconsin are you from? My husband grew up in Wausau and misses it like crazy (especially in the winter).

Thanks! I live in La Crosse. Grew up here and in Cornucopia (way up north) travelling between my parents. Just moved back after moving around MN and WI the past couple decades. So glad to be back! Wausau is gorgeous too, I have a childhood friend that lives up there. I'm not a big fan of hard winters, but the past couple years haven't been that bad...
