Yuck! But...that's pretty tiny & thin for Teva, compared to their other stuff. It would be like Burkenstock coming out with a thin sandal, which would leave me just as surprised.
My mother-in-law is or...was... a huge Teva fan (the only things she could hike in were sandals for a while because of bunions) ... now she just wears VFF treks.
But didn't you see? It's a Genuine Barefoot Sandal! Otherwise they'd be ashamed to charge 70 pounds (what's that in American money now - $100 or a bit more?)
It's kind of like a Leadville huarache with a much better strap, so that I don't feel like a hippie walking around in them. I like them too C.Beth. Y'all are waaaaay too picky.
But yeah, they're definitely not a "barefoot" sandal.
