I saw this earlier, but I don't get the connection, what he said that made them rethink their stance on undocumented students and what McDougall wrote about running shoes causing injuries. A very poorly written article.

TJ, I "think" that the purpose of a filibuster is to take up time. He could have read anything, or talked about anything. I think they just have to keep talking.

The reason you couldn't make a connection...is that there isn't one. ;-)

Reading an interesting running book would be better than what they do 99.99% of the time...so that was a win!

Maybe not just wasted time. I am sure someone in government is thinking about how the shoe industry has been selling products that have been potentially crippling people.
