Bach and BF / M running

I was to a great concert this afternoon by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem PA and was struck by the lyric of one of the cantatas (BVW 78) they performed:

"Wir eilen mit schwachen, doch emsigen Schritten"

which I choose to translate as " We race with light but eager strides."

I was moved!
