Das ist doch verrückt! Congratulations on finishing that one - I think I'd be afraid to go down there! Btw, it's the first race I've seen in Germany that isn't sponsored by a brewery :)

Good for you! 5:25 is pretty grueling and I'm impressed that you stuck to it!

Forgive my spelling: Was nicht mich umbricht mach mich starker, ja! You're not dead, so you must be stronger!

I think this counts as something that it's better to have done than it is to do.

Nearly 1000 meters of climbing is insane. Great time, given the climbing!

Well, now I know where I can train for a marathon in my hometown, Salt Lake City. The humidity and the temperature matches well. Despite the name, the city itself is not salty (except in February, when the snow machines have done their work).

Cheers

Hammer, Jörn!!! :) This is the race report I've been waiting for!!! (I know it's been here for a month now, but I'm just finally getting back into the swing of things--and back online--after an extended Christmas vacation. :p) I'm really glad to hear you FINISHED! Major respect, friend! :)
