    Shacky, are all of these

    Shacky, are all of these races or just trail runs? If you can finish all of these, Lost Boys will be more than doable. Seven 20+ mile runs, two of which over 30, will definitely be enough training to finish Lost Boys.

     @Jason - Noble Canyon and

    @Jason - Noble Canyon and Lost Boys are the only races. The rest are just the weekend long runs

    @tyler - I am wearing the Vibram Classics for these since I have no clue as to the condition of the trails around here. As I see what they are and get used to them, I will start putting some bf mileage in. I've already started going barefoot on our Wednesday trail run and I think I can handle the Tuesday morning one as well. Our Thursday trail is out of the question due to all the gravel and granite.

     I'm all kinds of jealous...

    I'm all kinds of jealous... I'm having some major "Florida running blues" (no hills, no trails, no fun...). South florida anyway... maybe it's different elsewhere. I almost want to get a nordicktrack x7i incline trainer just for some hill type running...

     I still plan to do my life

    I still plan to do my life long dream of running a Grand Canyon R2R2R. Barring injuries (knock on wood), it will take place either this Fall or next Spring. In fact, I think I may have stumbled upon someone planning a Spring trip and will be writing him for some info on it.

    Anyone interested? I'll be doing the trek in my VFF Classics, that is if they are still held up by then.

     I did a 10-12 mile trail

    I did a 10-12 mile trail run today in my Classics and my feet are killing me. Had to soak them in an epsom salt bath which I haven't had to do in a while. They seem to cramp a bit if I don't wiggle them around a bit. This trail was the most gravelly/rocky trail I've done to date. Hoping my feet are ok to get in my usual weekday runs.

    Shacky, I have an old high

    Shacky, I have an old high school bro that does R2R2R every year. He loves it. I can ask if he wants more company. He has done several 50's and loves the trails. He is also very patient. I plan on doing the Wasatch Back Ragnar with him next June, that should really try his patience

    I have been running my weekend long runs in my KSOs on a trail / dirt road. The trail isn't that bad but I find by the end of a 16 mile run my feet are pretty much tired and the ankles take a few days to get over the soreness. I think it is the constant balancing act that gets them, a little groove here, some rocks there, mud puddles, weeds etc... All stress the ankle muscles hard. Bottom of the feet get a little tender but that passes in a few hours

     That'd be awesome if you

    That'd be awesome if you could do that for me. Any idea what timeframe he prefers? It appears Fall is best but the guy I may hook up with is planning for Spring and there is usually snow on the ground at that time.

    Shoot me some info on the Wasatch and I just may try to weasel my way into joining you on that.
