The first bloke to do the London marathon BF (in 2005) was planning to do a 960 mile run (here's one link I found here).

I found a few bits of info on other places like Facebook and it seems he picked up an injury but does anyone know if he continued, plans to continue, gave up etc.?

The article says:

"Running barefoot can actually improve running proficiency by 5% because the extra skin that is exposed increases the body's access to oxygen."

Does that mean that it could be more efficient to run completly naked? Are tech running clothe breathable enough?

I had never read that as an argument for running barefoot.
