Today Show had a woman on there this morning who used to run a store, but had to declare bankruptcy, lost house, etc. because of this kid stealing like $18K worth of stuff from her store. Some people are saying "oh, well he had a rough child hood", big friggen deal. Lots of people had rough childhoods but didn't resort to a life of crime.
I have no sympathy or support for him whatsoever. Barefoot or not.

I completely agree TJ, I subscribe to effort optimism and working for what is yours. Actually, I think thats why I like running so much, there is a direct relationship to how hard I train and the results.

I think the Barefoot Bandit
I think the Barefoot Bandit was awesome! This is old news but anyways. Did you happen to catch the two hour special they had on him last year, this kid was brilliant. I was always in his corner hoping he would escape the law again, and again. They had him on security cameras a few times escaping from places and he was fast as all heck running barefoot and very fluid.
