Hello Everyone!
So I ran my very first marathon a little over a week ago here in San Diego. After an injury in April, my training left something to be desired (like a 4 hour finishing time!!) But I still made it to the finish line - huaraches and all, in under 5 hours, which was my goal at the very least (4:56, was the actual time).
Legs were pretty destroyed, as was to be expected, but I'm feeling back to normal, minus one lingering problem....
My ankles are killing me!!! They are so tiiiigggghhhhttt!
Anyone have some suggestions on what I can do for these little guys? I finally went on a swim/run - the run being barefooted and a little under 5 miles for the first time since the big showdown and my ankles were seriously protesting that decision.
Well I'm off for another brick in a couple hours - wish me luck!
