The same people that say the problem with beer is that it is just empty calories also recommend having a bagel for breakfast. Never mind that the typical coffee/bagel chain store bagel has 350 OR MORE calories of carbs + fat (REAL bagels are only 250 KCAL and contain no added fat) and the typical beer has 150 calories of carbs w/ no fat per 12 oz. serving.At least beer has some nutritional value.
Beer as a carb source is the same as any other grain based foods.........only with value added!
