Last night my husband and I saw a TV ad for New Balance's Minimus shoe with the tag line, “Like Barefoot, Only Better."

My husband said, "Shouldn't that be, 'Like Barefoot, Only Shoe-ier?"

My wife laughed like crazy at that commercial. She thought it was hysterical because it fits with her beliefs on what being barefoot is like. Dang acorns. They are everywhere I tell you. Kind of like the drug needles and glass and everything else...

Acorns do suck! I whacked one full weight a month ago, was chatting with my son and looking at his feet and didn't realize the feeling until I had taken the acorn full weight into the arch of my foot. ow.
