I know it sounds nit picky, but I'm curious about people's thoughts on this. And does it matter what part of the foot has duct tape? I still have this trouble spot on the ball of my left foot and am thinking it was damaged further down than I originally thought. It will heal over, but when I hit something hard there, the tisuue seems ready to crack much more easily than ever in my history of running barefoot. It has happened 3 times now, and the cracks, or tears, always look the same and in the same place, so that doesn't seem like new cuts every time. I'm thinking duct tape tomorrow, but had trouble getting it to stay on the ball of my foot last time, so was going to wrap it up around my ankle, without getting it tight enough to affect my range of motion. And I was hoping to run this half marathon barefoot in a month...
