Long Run

First long run of the year, ran to Harbins park then 3 miles trail plus all the park pavement then back home. Chilly out in the beginning but warmed up quickly and the pavement was even starting to burn my feet a little the last couple miles. Rolling course with a few good uphills about 1000 feet of climbing total.

The trail running really was humbling...the path was very dried out and the stones felt sharper than ever for this trail...ran very cautious. Almost ran into a deer...I was running quietly and around a turn on the trail there was a deer not more than 4 feet in front me all startled.

Distance 14.0 miles
Time 2:18:28
Pace 9:53
Av Heart-rate 135
