Humid run

Sunny on the warm humid side...I'm not used to this... had to run a bit slower than normal to keep the heart rate in check around my Maff pacing. I'm going to start keeping track of my distance and time on this blog and just see how it changes.

Still building back my fitness, I didn't run much over the winter but lifted weights and gained 10 lbs of fat and muscle. In January when I started running again I was running at about a 10:15 min/mile at Maff pace... basically lost about 2 min/mile speed over the winter.

Target Maff heartrate 180 - 49+5 = 136

Today I ran 7 miles barefoot on med-rough chip seal rolling hilly roads...about 400-500 ft climbing, this is my usual route over to Harbins park and back. Warm and a bit of a headwind on the way back. My feet aren't fully adjusted back to barefoot so I'm still running on the painted white lines off and on during my run but good enough to drop the min-shoes now. Saw a few bike riders and only a handful of cars.

Time 1:02:58
Pace 8:59
Average heartrate 136.
