Tomorrow is International Barefoot Running Day !!!!

Get out there and run! Barefoot. Anywhere.

Locate the IBRD tab, and go to the IBRD Events Listing and find an event closest to you. If there isn't one near you, then just get out there and run barefoot, then report back here what you did.

And most of all, HAVE FUN!!!!

Just back from a 45 minute jog down to the river (cue the Boss) and back. Glorious sunny day. Probably only 8k but I'm heading out again this evening to run around Tempelhof Airport. Hopefully send some pics.

That trail run looks much better than my sidewalk and road run last night.

6.22 to be exact and I didn't stub my toe once..... my mile times weren't great but I managed to finish in just under a hour by seconds.

I forgot all about it too.....thank goodness I went for a run though, although with the weather yesterday it probably could have qualified for the winter run challenge. 4.5 miles on some pretty rough streets.

It's the best kind of mud, soft and cool with no hidden sharp sticks.
I was thrilled to see other bare feet prints, maybe celebrating IBRD?

Kinda small by most of you guys standards (but then again the whole island is only 20 miles long!) - but I did 2 1/2 miles with my male GSD Nero and then 1 mile with my female GSD Ember for IBRD. Had an all out sprint with Ember to finish the run with gusto. By the way - all 10 legs were BF the entire time!
