Stephanie dealing with homophobic drama

We received a "Save the Date" card for a wedding this winter (Valentines Day weekend in Iowa) Her college roommate (the starting goaltender) is getting married (to a man). Sarah wants Stephanie to be her maid of honor. Her mom is LIVID! Sarah's mom was never a fan of Stephanie, convinced she would seduce her daughter. :eyeroll: Steph desperately wants to be in the wedding, but Sarah's mom is being completely unreasonable.

Not really looking for advice, just needed to vent. But if you DO have advice.

Tell mom to shove it up her.....you know, because it's ultimately not her choice who the maid of honor is, unless it's mom's wedding.

Exactly!! I was just googling about "breastfed babies at weddings". Stephanie told me,"Don't worry hon, Sarah is excited to meet Megan."
