Running in Huaraches (Luna's)

I love running in huaraches. I have my homemade ones and then I have a pair of the ATS from Luna. I hated the strapping system on the ATS so I swapped it out for hemp and they seem to be ok as long as I don't run through to much water. When running through water they constrict which can, and in my case did, tear my skin from tightening too much. I think that was because I had them laced in the slip on method, which I don't really like. I have gone back to my favorite method of tying which is the traditional way. I see you like tying yours this way too. I feel I have more control this way.

I've been using mine much more this winter when conditions allow, and in the cold now that I've found I don't need toe socks after all. They are great for steady distance work, and I also found that I can go fast (for me) in them with a 20:09 5km this week.
