I wish I'd stopped to take a picture. In my work travels today, I'm cruising over the bay between Cape Coral and Fort Myers, Florida when I see a big LCD marquis sign on the opposite side of the street. It said "Foot Care Specialists" at the top, and the sign was full color video, playing a slow slideshow of frames of foot care tips.
The first one depicted a foot being held by a hand, and the words: WASH FEET FREQUENTLY AND THOROUGHLY
Nice, I thought. Some good advice and advertising at the same time. Way to go, foot doctors!
The next slide was simply the words: MAKE SURE SHOES FIT
Sure, of course.
The next slide almost caused me to swerve into the next lane and cause an accident: AVOID WALKING BAREFOOT
