This trail is 1.2 miles up a 200 foot cinder cone. The trail begins in thick, relatively soft cinders that massage the feet very nicely. After about .5 miles the trail becomes steeper and less cindery. Towards the summit it becomes mostly dirt, but still very easy on the pads. Nice run, nice view in all directions at the top.
