Hi, Im fairly new to barefoot running (and running in general, cept for the 6+years i ran in soccer over 15years ago). I started running in Vibram FiveFingers late Aug 2010. I eventually switched to all barefoot in Oct 2010. Ive done a couple 5ks in the western/eastern MA areas so far, and am looking foreward to doing some 10k and maybe some half marathons in the future.
Welcome to the crew, Striper. There are at least a couple of other BFRers in MA that I've seen on here. Good luck joining up with them; it's a lot more fun running with someone else sometimes.
Ya it would be nice finding a group or even just one other person around western MA, seems most are around the eastern part of the state (Boston area). Doing a 10k this weekend (Holyoke St Patricks Race), possibly find someone else there
