The course is flat and fast. Most roads aresuper comfortable to run on. A few sections of chip and seal but they didn't bother me and most have either a yellow line or a sidewalk to run on.
Overall it's a very barefoot friendly course. I saw only 1 other barefoot runner and no minimalist but since I started at the end of the pack that doesn't mean much.
