Moka Pot / "Espresso Maker" for Americanos and Flat Whites?

just wondering if anyone is using a Moka pot to make flat whites or Americanos? I thought about getting one, but am not sure about the size...

My "problem" is that I don't really drink espresso (and the moka pots don't give you a real espresso anyhow afaik).
I'd just like it to brew 2 cups of regular strength coffee in the morning. Now I don't really know how strong the coffee from these Moka pot turns out, i.e. how much water/milk I'd have to add in order to get a regular strength coffee.

Coffee starts with a shot or two of espresso, so what you do with after to get what suit you is a matter experimenting. Quantities will vary depending on the been you use.

Since buying an Aeropress my mocha pot has gathered dust, we also use a Gaggia espresso machine but aeropress is good for quickness. But if you really want a mocha pot go for one that serves 6 or 8.

Thanks, didn't know how strong the coffee made in these is (as it's not proper espresso). Think I'll get a 6 cup one though.

press pots also make really nice coffee, any strength you like.
