Good review. I run in them as my min shoes of choice. The only thing that I can add is that the traction in snow is not as good as some of the other min shoes. I did order a second pair with the sale they have on as my casual wear shoe.

What would you recommend for better traction in snow but also very minimal, like 2-4mm sole?

I don't really know Lee. I have the NB 110's, and Evo's. none of the ones I have are what I would call good in snow. Even in my shod days I can not remember a shoe that I thought was good in snow. I have noticed that if ones form is on the money than it becomes less of a issue. Now I slow the pace down and focus on form, I do use the KIGO's mostly as they have great ground feel.

Yah, I see they're 2mm just like the Moc3s. The Moc3s aren't the best tread either, but I guess when you only have 2mm to work with there's only so much you can do. Like you say, good form and a slightly higher cadence (for me) helps, but I haven't run shod yet this season except for a few blocks on salt, so just starting to think about it.

Check your footprint. It should be clear and defined, no sign of pushoff which would show in the front of the print if you did pushoff with the toes. That is the only good thing about running in snow, you can feel yourself slip and slide and you can check the footprint to confirm everything is right with the world. Sorry about the hijack, just to keep it on track, I did take advantage of the 50% sale and ordered another pair.

Traction in snow? The Vivo Barefoot Neo Trails are Tha Bomb. They have aggressive lugs. The downside is that if you are on clean roads, you can feel the lugs through the shoes.

I've been thinking of picking up a pair of the Kigos for roads.

They are really warm too. I have them, but I pretty much ONLY use them in the snow. But that's a lot of the year here!

Yah, you guys get a lot more snow than us. I was needing some shoes that would be good in the snow. I found a pair on Amazon for $68, they'll be here Monday. Thanks again for the rec.
