Why do they feel the need to make it about being barefoot? Why play on barefoot? Why not just call it what it is, International Shoe Charity Day or International Soles4Souls Day (to toot their own horn)? Are they trying to say that those who support their cause should go barefoot for the day so they can feel how difficult and painful it is to be barefoot? Their play on barefoot is ridiculous and insulting, in my opinion.
But, of course, I will be barefoot on that day because every day is Barefoot Day to me!
