So after taking time off with a stress fracture in my right metatarsal, I started up again -- first walking a barefoot mile every day for a month before running.
I've been adding miles extremely slowly -- no more than one mile per month -- and hoping for the best.
But I'm starting to experience pain in my right foot again. I went to Dr. Libensohn a few months ago (couldn't afford his ridiculous rates) and he identified that I pronate in my left foot, which causes me to land heavier on my right -- which would explain a lot.
But what do I do? I mean, if this is "how I run" am I setting up for repeat right foot stress fractures for the rest of my $%^&@ life??
Grrr. I just wanna ruuuuuun!
