Hot, sticky, tar balls

For those of you who live in areas where pot holes are filled with shovels full of hot, loose, asphalt, you'll know what I'm talking about! They throw the sticky crap into the pot holes and leave it to the cars to "smooth" it out. It's the season now and and I seem to have a knack for stepping on the hot, gooey stones. They then stick to my feet and when I get home I have polka dotted feet that stick to everything! It gets my shower all gross too. I hate that about country roads!

I'd rather the tar balls than

I'd rather the tar balls than the potholes and sharp little pieces that came out of them.. but where are you in MI that they are already filling the holes? I haven't seen a crew out yet.. and it was only 10 farenheit last night here.. so no CHANCE they'll be out for a few days at least

I have seen them a few times

I have seen them a few times as well. Never ran through them before, I will deffinitely try to avoid them from now on though.
