Well, in about 20 days, I should know wether or not I'm good enough at brewing my own beer that I can stop buying it at the store. For the amount of work involved, it wasn't too hard, but I'm not sure if the price savings is enough to really do it a lot.
My philosophy starting out was that if it wasn't ready to drink yet, I'd better make some more in the meantime. Just to be sure that there'll be enough to drink later. And if you're drinking some, maybe you should be making even more. You know, just in case.
I'm rocking a rich, smoky brown ale tonight. Relatively low alcohol but lots of flavor...
