    Hi, my name is Luciano, i have 31 years old. I'm from the Florianópolis Island, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

    I always ran with minimal shoes, and I'm running approximately nine months barefoot with my wife. We started running barefoot after read some articles at from Phil Maffetone website. She didn't could run one mile with shoes, without them she ran a marathon last month :)

    I'm very excited for read more stories about barefoot in this forum.

    I dont know who is Phil Maffetone,
    but the first picture we can see on his website shows a dangerous straight leg /overstriding ! cuidado !

    Hi, there! We hosted an exchange student from Brazil about 5 years ago, right about when I began my barefoot journey. She seemed to like us fine, but thought we were a bit odd. Now, I can tell her people in Brazil do it, too.
