Glad to see you getting so many walks in, Double D. Interestingly, in my experience, BF running is less wearing and more comfortable than BF walking. I'll be interested to see if you have the same experience. Have a great weekend!

Ive been avoiding runs as i was hoping to toughen my feet. For the first test runs, grass or asphalt?

Asphalt, no question. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it works. It keeps you honest with your form, which, if you keep it right, means no pushing off or skidding on landing - just light lift-and-set short strides. Grass can hide way too much until you are really solid, including undulations in the ground. I only run on grass I know very, very well, and I wouldn't recommend any grass runs until you're very comfortable with asphalt or concrete.

Thanks so much Phil. I'll book a run in for the next few days.

Go easy friend. Blog you experiences. I am in my 4th month of BF at age 52 (picked up running a year earlier). Blog your experiences in our site's blog. I love to read them.
