What people will do in order to keep their shoes new looking! Braving all that glass as well as germs!
I remember Genevieve Gorder used to explain that she worked barefoot while remodeling houses on Trading Spaces not because she liked going barefoot or hated shoes, but because she loved shoes and didn't want to let them get dirty while working. Personally I never believed that, but here's a quote from Wikipedia:
