Just saying Hi to everyone. I'm living near Darlington, County Durham.
I've been running barefoot now for around 2 months....no going back to modern shoes for me!
If there is anyone around here up for a run just let me know. I go to Hamsterley forest quite a lot during the week and weekend runs in the Lakes.

Welcome Mike. With a last name like Keswick it's no surprise you spend time in the Lakes!

I lived in Darlington for a while, 35 years ago, and liked the area plenty - there's a lot of great country around there. Just be sure to take it easy and savour each view, rather than rushing on for more, that way you should avoid the dreaded "too much, too soon"!
