This is a great conversation,
This is a great conversation, and Barefoot Gentile, you make a good point - and one we've addressed with the new designs. kigos are made of breathable, stretch fabric, but there is always room for improvement, and one thing that keeps the shoes from being as cool as possible is a small amount of webbing between the layers. It makes them a super option for people who really enjoy barefoot activities but need something a little warmer and more protective in cold months/environments. The new models have the webbing removed, and it not only has lightened the weight a notable amount, it also has allowed the fabric to breathe as it's meant to.
Thanks, C. Beth. Run (such a cute photo BTW!) for the encouragement! We have the benefit of being a small, specialist company, and it's one of the great things about it - we make it a point to talk to our customers and really to listen - our customers, retailers and reviewers make the best R&D department available.
Jimmy, we really appreciate you facilitating this conversation!
