Welcome to the Destin 50 Beach Ultra! This running race takes place on the white sand beaches of Destin, Florida, and next to the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. That's right, the entire 50 mile/50K/relay races are in the sand!
If you want to run a race like no other, in a location with beauty that can not be matched anywhere in the world...then this is your race! Barefoot runners, this race was made for you.
All profits from the Destin 50 go directly to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Online registration will open July 1st, 2011
Divisions/Awards
-Overall individual winners (M/F, 50M/50K) will receive a two-night ResortQuest of Northwest Florida vacation with a value of up to $400!
-Overall winners (M/F, 50M/50K), team winner/runner-up, and age group 1st/2nd will receive custom, etched-glass awards.
-50 mile/50K, Men/Women, 1st & 2nd in each
-18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
-Relay Team 1st, 2nd
-Special Division Awards:
-1st Active Duty Miltary Male & Female in 50 mile and 50K
-1st Barefoot or VFF Male & Female in 50 mile and 50K
